Description

The Housing Authority of Cook County (HACC) intends to enter into a development partnership with a qualified proposer(s) based on a competitive evaluation of submissions received. HACC is seeking Qualifications from qualified individuals, firms or development teams to undertake the development, redevelopment and rehabilitation of various sites throughout Suburban Cook County through various funding sources including the HUD Rental Assistance Program (RAD) and other available programs. HACC reserves the right to choose multiple co-developers for distinct phases, if the opportunity presents itself. The Request for Qualification (RFQ) will be utilized to develop a pre-qualified developer's list to engage in the acquisition, development and management of mixed-income developments and family units among others, with a preference for investing in Opportunity and General Areas. These pre-qualified development teams will help HACC supply quality housing that enables low-income families to maximize their potential for economic success. Pre-Qualified Development Teams or Co-Developers will be issued a Letter of Pre-Qualification for a term of two (2) years. Additionally, HACC may request the selected co-developer to consider development of additional parcels Q/A Cutoff Date: 06/13/2022 Q/A Cutoff Time: 03:00 PM EDT The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
