Description

LOCATION. The work site is located at Big Rapids, Michigan in the City of Big Rapids' Hemlock Park. The existing tennis courts referred to in this Project are placed in a North/South battery configuration with an overall perimeter dimension of approximately 108 feet [width] by 240 feet [length]. The courts have a chain link fence, varying in heights, around the perimeter, and also a fence line dividing the two (2) North courts from the two (2) South courts. 1. Remove and salvage all fencing at a location easily accessible for equipment and material access onto court. Only remove the fence for an entry point (important). The rest of the fence shall be left alone. 2. Inspect the entire Tennis Court for loose, cracked, or hollowed out areas on surface layer. 3. Thoroughly clean and scrape off any irregularities, dirt, and debris from the court. 4. Power wash the whole surface of the court. 5. Rough areas or areas deemed “necessary” for repair should be filled with a crack filling until level, before filling the crack make sure all dirt, debris, and vegetation is removed from the cracked layer, crack filling shall meet manufacturers recommendations. 6. Apply 2 coats of acrylic filer binder to help fill, seal, level, and bond to the courts surface. 7. Apply 1 finish coat with the appropriate court coloring combination and court.
