| Description | This project is the second of several phases in a planned, comprehensive renewal of the Central Steam Plant. The scope of this project will replace the controls system in its entirety and relocate the Control Room operation currently located in BH#2 to a newly constructed 2-story space in BH #1. The facility’s main electrical service entrance will be replaced along with normal and emergency power distribution systems. Subsequent phases that are not included in this contract will replace all three existing gas-fired boilers and balance of plant equipment to increase total plant capacity and meet future demands. Future phases will occur over a span of several years as funds become available. |
