Description | Set Aside for Partial Small Business. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, South Atlantic Division, Mobile District requires AE Services to Support the Construction Management Program. Services are to be provided under Single Award Task Order Contracts (SATOCs). PROJECT INFORMATION: The selected firms will be required to perform a board range of engineering services to satisfy fluctuating needs and conditions. Services required include assistance and guidance to Field Offices, and site visits. These contracts will be used to support the Construction Management Program which meets the definition of AE Services as defined in 40 U.S.C. 1101 and FAR 2.101. The selected firms will be required to provide timely and cost effective responses to support the Mobile District to include but not limited to: Bid-ability and Constructability Reviews for building construction projects; Preparation of contract related documents and analysis, such as construction cost estimates, project schedules or networks analysis systems, delay impact analysis, claims and change order analysis; Review of contractor submittals; Shop Drawing Reviews; Quality Assurance activities in connection to building construction inspection. The selected firms must have the capability thru In-House staff or consultants to perform architectural, structural, civil, mechanical and electrical project engineers and construction representative support for a variety of construction projects. The Construction Management Program uses engineering and construction teams to provide and manage construction contracts for Military, Civil, and Federal Agencies within Mobile District's AOR to include the Department of Defense, U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserves, U.S. Army National Guard, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, Defense Logistics Agency, USACE Federal Military and Civil Works, NASA, Department of Homeland Security, Veterans Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, and other Federal agencies. The Mobile District has a CONUS construction mission for Army and Air Force installations located in the states of Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida as well as an OCONUS construction mission in Central and South America. Work under this contract requires knowledge and capability of drawings produced in the AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM), Bentley BIM, or MicroStation format; technical specifications produced with SPECSINTACT software using Unified Facilities Guide Specifications, or industry standard specifications using international and Host Nation standards; and Government web-based Design Review and Checking System (DrChecks) located at www.projnet.org. |
