Door Replacement at Cheraw SP

South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism is seeking qualified Offerors to provide all materials, labor, equipment necessary to replace doors in the Pro Shop at Cheraw State Park. All work is to be completed not later than 06/30/2023. Pre-Bid Information: N/A Direct Inquiries To: Ashley Bishop SC PRT is seeking qualified Offerors to provide all materials, labor, installation and equipment needed to replace the doors in the Pro Shop at Cheraw State Park. 1) Materials a) Seven (7) pair of doors total are to be replaced. Door dimensions are 5' 9" x 7'-2" i) One (1) pair of doors in pro shop area, ii) Two (2) pair of doors in hallway iii) Two (2) pair of doors in game room iv) Two (2) pair of doors in grill area v) Continuous geared hinges for all 14 doors. Dark Bronze vi) Seven (7) pairs concealed rod panic hardware vii) Seven (7) pairs 9" pull handles viii)Seven (7) pairs surface mount closures ix) 7" thresholds on all 7 pairs of doors x) Glass- 3/4 bronze tinted tempered insulated glass units on each pair of doors xi) Color: dark bronze anodized finish xii) Type: Wide Stile Aluminum Storefront 2) Contractor Responsibilities a) Contractor Must: i) Obtain and verify all final measurements before ordering all materials and installation of for all doors ii) Coordinate review and layout of building with Park prior to completing plan. iii) Remove existing pair of doors at the pro shop iv) Install new doors v) Install hinges for each pair of doors vi) Install panic hardware for each pair of doors vii) Install pull handles for each pair of doors viii) Install surface mount closures for each pair of doors ix) Install thresholds on the 7 pairs of doors x) Install Glass on each pairs of doors xi) Both interior and external areas must be clean up at each door location and materials hauled offsite to be disposed of by contractor. xii) Contractor must Have a commercial license to perform on a state park. Be licensed xiii) Responsible for all equipment and materials to complete the remove, dispose of, and install new doors in Pro Shop. xiv) Bid price to be all inclusive of all labor, materials, licenses, permits, travel related expenses, and equipment to provide good and services as specified. xv) Successful Bidder shall provide a copy of the license with bid response. xvi) If the approved date/time is not met due to weather hazards the contractor will be responsible for making up the services within 24 hours weather permitting and with agreement from Park Staff. xvii) Contractor is responsible for using safety precautions to ensure that their employees, and anyone who may come within the work perimeter, will not be injured. This may include, but not be limited to, the use of appropriate barricades, signs, safety harnesses and equipment, and personnel.
