Description

The existing station will be removed in its entirety and a new lift station package installed. The aged concrete wet well will be replaced with a fiberglass reservoir. Pumps will be submersible, retractable to the surface for maintenance without the need for confined entry. All control equipment will be in an above ground cabinet. A socket receptacle will be included to quickly receive mobile generator power in events of loss of electrical service. A separate valve vault will be included to facilitate bypass connections. The existing electrical service will be replaced and upgraded. The pumps will be connected to the existing 6-inch discharge pipeline. Existing SCADA connectivity with the WPCP will be reused and reactivated. Project is included in the City of San Leandro's FY 2022-2023 CIP. As of August 26, 2022, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. A timeline for construction has not been determined. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
