Description | The project includes removal of existing packaged rooftop units and existing ductless split system and replace with new packaged rooftop units and ductless split systems as indicated and scheduled on the plans. Work also includes removal of existing boiler and associated pump and replace with new high efficiency boiler and pump, provide new Building HVAC Controls system, hot water control valves and power monitoring, provide electrical as indicated on the plans for equipment replacement and power monitoring, replace existing gas fired water heater with new gas fired water heater as indicated and scheduled on the plans. Also, provide additional structural supports as designed and indicated on the plans for new rooftop packaged equipment. The Contractor shall be securing and pay for all necessary permits and approvals required for his work. The City of Charlotte reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest. All requests must be submitted no later than seven (7) full calendar days, as stated herein or as amended by addendum, prior to the day that bids are due. Request received after this deadline will not be addressed by the architect.
