Description | The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. Anticipated Total Funding & Payment Structure: $30,000,000 & $24,000,000 Homes for Good Housing Agency is seeking proposals from License and Bonded General Contractors to provide Construction Management/General Contractor (CM/GC) services for two projects: Naval Reserve located in Eugene and Quince Street located in Florence. Respondents may provide proposals for one or both projects. Homes for Good may select the same respondent for each project or different respondents for each project. Naval Reserve: The City of Eugene intends to make the City-owned property on 13th Avenue east of Chambers Street, also known as the Naval Reserve site, available in the fall of 2022 for affordable housing development through the federal HOME request for proposal (RFP) process that happens annually each fall. This site includes a 3.06-acre parcel that could support a variety of housing types and unit densities. Homes for Good Housing Agency intends to apply to develop this site for affordable housing through this RFP process.Quince Street: Homes for Good is conducting due diligence on a property located at 505 Quince Street in Florence, Oregon to evaluate this property for a new construction affordable housing project. This site includes a 6.88-acre parcel that could support a variety of housing types and unit densities. The site is currently zoned Old-Town District B & C and would require a site review process.The selected firm will provide preconstruction and construction services including budgeting/estimating, scheduling, assistance with developing construction documents, permitting, as well as all general contractor services necessary to complete construction. The selected firm will need to provide a guaranteed maximum price for the full cost of constructionRequests for Proposals may be obtained from Spencer McCoy at Homes for Good, at smccoy@homesforgood.org. General Contractors must be license in the State of Oregon and provide evidence of their bonding capacity for this value of work.
