Questions / Requests for Clarification Due December 2 5 PM This RFP anticipates the award of an agreement for the work, materials and service described by thisScope of Work and associated Contract Documents. Work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services, incidental and implied for complete replacement of the Baker Heritage Museum roof to weather tight condition with new materials, including removal and proper disposal of old material. All items, including those not specifically mentioned, but required to make the renovation complete and meet warranty standards shall be automatically included. This solicitation is for a public works project subject to the state prevailing wage rates in accordance with ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. No proposal will be received or considered unless the proposer acknowledges with a statement that the provisions of ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870 pertaining to prevailing wage rates shall be complied with. No proposal will be accepted by Baker County unless it contains a statement by the proposer that identifies whether the proposer is a resident bidder, as defined in ORS 279A.120, and is licensed by the Construction Contractors Board. Baker County may reject any or all offers not in compliance with the prescribed public contracting procedures and requirements, and reserves the right to reject any or all offers upon a finding of the agency it is in the public interest to do so. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit issued by an insured institution, or surety bond executed by a State licensed surety co. made payable to Baker County in amount equal to 10% of the bid amount. No interest is paid on bid security.
