Shiloh HVAC Upgrades - Linwood Crump Shiloh Community Center

BASE SCOPE: The overall scope of the project is to replace the existing hot water boiler system and provide heating and air conditioning for the gymnasium. This includes but is not limited to any and all materials, accessories, wiring, cabling, plumbing necessary to have a fully functioning system as intended. A basic overview includes the following: 1. Demolish the existing boiler, pumps, and piping system in the boiler room. 2. Install two new condensing boilers, pumps, piping, and flues. Boiler system controls will be integral to the boilers. 3. Demolish exhaust fan system and hot water piping in the gymnasium and locker rooms. 4. Install new rooftop heat pump and ductwork to condition the gym and locker rooms. 5. Provide structural reinforcement for the roof to support the rooftop unit. 6. Provide electrical system upgrade and power for rooftop unit and boiler. 7. Repair/patch locker room ceiling, roof curbs where fans are removed, and wall openings where intake louvers are removed. The City of Asheville reserves the right to postpone bid openings for its own convenience. In the event of inclement weather and the City Offices are closed, the bid opening will be held at 11:00 a.m. the next business day that the City Offices are open.
