Avon School District 4-1 Gymnasium Cooling

As of December 13, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The project consists of providing cooling to the school's main gym, auxiliary gym, coach's room, kitchen, and band room. The main gym will be served by a roof top unit, the auxiliary gym will be served by a roof top unit, the coach's room will be served by a mini split system, the kitchen will be served by a mini split system, and the band room will be served by a mini split system. All bids must be made on the blank Bid Form included in the specifications. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope containing the name of the bidder and addressed to Tom Culver, Avon School District 4- 1, Avon, South Dakota. Bid envelopes shall be clearly marked on the outside lower left corner "GYMNASIUM COOLING". Full responsibility for the delivery of mailed bids prior to the deadline for receiving bids rests with the bidder. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check for 5% or bid bond for 10% of the Base Bid, payable to the Owner. A performance and payment bond in the amount of 100 percent of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner and Architect/Engineer will be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any irregularities of any bid. The Owner also reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder as may be determined by the Owner. No bidder may withdraw a bid until 45 days after the bid opening. Construction start date will be May 24, 2022 with construction to be completed by August 18, 2022
