2020 Facility 3 Cell 1 Improvements Project

Project “2020 Facility 3 – Cell 1 Improvements” will be to increase Cell 1 capacity and improve operability of the site for future dredge material disposal. Cell 1 was originally constructed in 1976 and has been used for the containment and dewatering of dredged material from the Maumee River and Maumee Bay. This project provides for further work on the dikes to bring them to final design height and for excavation and reconstruction of a portion of dike that experienced rotational slide. The contractor will be furnishing all labor, supervision, permits, materials, equipment, shop drawings, tools, services, testing and incidentals required to complete the work required by the bid documents, project technical specifications, project construction drawings, and contract documents. After completion of the work, and upon demobilization, the contractor shall leave the site free of contractor’s structures, equipment, and debris and securely enclosed.
