Description | Project no-50347, 2241, 03-0J740, P19039, 50347 (Bid 2) PROJECT NUMBER & PHASE: 0319000145 FEDERAL-AID PROJECT NO.: ATPCML-5037(027) BUDGET ACCOUNT NUMBER: MAJGC/50347-300-4150 The Project will construct a 0.44-mile Class I bicycle and pedestrian facility adjacent to the eastside of State Route 99 (SR99), including a steel bridge overcrossing at East 20th Street and SR99. The work to be done under this contract will generally consist of steel bridge fabrication and erection, approach structures, clearing and grubbing, construction surveying, grading, structural excavation, block wall construction, aggregate base, asphalt paving, concrete paving, lighting, traffic signal modifications, fencing, landscaping, striping and markings, roadway signs, and all other work as shown on the contract plans. This project is funded with Federal ATP and CMAQ funds. The DBE Contract goal is 25%. The Project has 300 Working Days For the Federal Training Program, the number of trainees or apprentices is 10.Contractor's attention is directed to Section 3-1.06, "Contractor License" of the Standard Specifications and Special Provisions. At the time the City awards the contract for this project through contract acceptance, the Contractor and any Subcontractors shall possess either a Class A Contractor License or a combination of classes required by the categories and types of work included in this contract. This contract is subject to state contract nondiscrimination and compliance requirements pursuant to Government Code, Section 12990. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in any bid. No bid will be considered unless it is made on the bid form included in the project Bid Book furnished by the Public Works Department, obtained through Public Purchase on-line bidding service. Bids are required for the entire work described herein. Each bid must be accompanied by cash, cashier's check, certified check, or a bidder's bond executed by an admitted surety insurer made payable to the City of Chico for an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the total bid amount, such guaranty to be forfeited should the bidder to whom the contract is awarded fail to enter into the contract.
