Installation of Softball Foul Pole and Netting

The scope of work for this project consists of, but not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Installation of six (6) new 40 ft high poles starting at the dugout on the third base side, replacing the existing back stop poles and down just past the second set of bleachers on the first base side. The start and stop point of the new poles is indicated by red asterisk on the marked up plans. Installation shall include new cabling, hardware and netting. 2. Existing poles, netting, chain link fencing, concrete pole bases and hardware from the third base dugout to the backstop around to the first base dugout shall be demolished by this contractor. 3. Contractor shall install new four ft high chain link fencing at the base of the backstop to match the existing fencing. Fencing shall by sturdy enough so the existing four ft high padding at the Softball field can be reinstalled by the contractor. 4. The existing poles along the 3rd base line at the intersection point of the third base dugout where the new 40 ft poles start shall remain. Contractor shall install new cabling, hardware and netting. 5. The new netting along the third base side shall have a large enough access opening for field prep equipment access (mowing, infield work, etc.). 6. This shall be a turnkey installation including all materials, delivery, labor, equipment, excavation, site work/restoration, concrete foundations, rebar, saw cutting, backfilling, etc.
