Description | This contract to retrofit and replace existing allotment fences in the Moab and Monticello field offices. A contractor will be hired based on the amount of work that can be done within a $61,000 budget. Work will be prioritized and contractors will bid on each priority. If necessary, work will be reduced according to priority in order to stay within budget. Work is detailed below, but will include segments of fence totaling 6.8 miles requiring repair, including miscellaneous replacement of barbed wire, gates, T-posts, wood posts, and H-Braces, as well as retrofitting an additional 22.1 miles of existing fences by removing the bottom strand of barbed wire and replacing it with a smooth wire 18” above the ground. |
