Water Main Replacement Phases 2 and 3

The existing water main in the Manorwood area is 4-inch and 6-inch PVC pipe. The water main was installed in the 1970s and is approaching the end of its useful service life. When this water main was installed, it was not bedded properly, resulting in numerous water main breaks and significant property damage. Phase 2 includes replacement of approximately 2,000 feet of main with 4-inch and 8-inch water pipe along 32nd Ave SE and 28th St SE. Phase 3 includes replacement of approximately 1,250 feet of main with 8-inch water pipe along 33rd Ave SE, between 32nd Ave SE and 27th Pl SE, and 27th Pl SE, between 33rd Ave SE and Manorwood Dr. Additionally, this project will replace all fire hydrants, water services, and appurtenances along these alignments.
