Description

Provide Drum Chopping Services with Operator. These services will provide efficient management of projects related to site preparation for reforestation and marsh/upland ecosystems management in order to improve wildlife habitat and/or ecosystems health in general, throughout the District’s 18-county boundary area. Drum chopping will be utilized to reduce tall, dense palmetto, shrubs and/or small trees in scrub, mesic/scrubby flatwoods, and dry prairie to reduce woody shrub coverage in marsh systems and manage competition at reforestation sites. Firms must have experience in Drum Chopping services as outlined in this solicitation.
