All Contractors are hereby notified that they shall have proper Contractors licenses as required by the state laws governing their respective trade in the state where this Project is located. Notice is hereby given to all bidders that Executive Order 11246 and Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, Subtitle A, Part 21 are applicable to this contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or by a certified check payable to the Lee County Treasurer, Bishopville, South Carolina, and drawn on some bank or trust company authorized to do business in the State of South Carolina, for an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total base bid. A performance bond and a labor and material payment bond are required. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the closing time for the receipt of bids. L e e County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any and all technical defects in the execution of the submission of any bid. BASE BID TOTAL CONTRACT TIME: 75 CALENDAR DAYS
