Description | To construct a new 11,554 sq. ft. fair building with a 4,376 sq. ft. community room that is subdivided into 3 equal rooms each 1,459 sq. ft., men's and women's restrooms, commercial kitchen, office space, conference room, incubator space, outdoor covered seating areas, ADA/public parking. The building will be utilized throughout the year by programs and community members for various functions. Phase 1 Planning was completed in June 2019. Phase 2 will include construction plans, technical specifications, construction cost estimate and Bid Documents is currently in progress and will be completed by December 2021. Phase 3 will include construction and purchasing furniture and equipment to include commercial kitchen equipment, office equipment and furniture, tables, chairs, fire safety equipment, rest room equipment, internet equipment, central HVAC system, sound attenuation and landscaping. Phase 3 will take approximately 9 months to complete. The project is included in the New Mexico Department of Finance and Administration FY 2023-2027 Infrastructure Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) . As of May 16, 2022 , further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
