Description

Work at the primary treatment structure includes demolition and reconstruction of concrete walkways, concrete rehabilitation and installing an epoxy liner within an interior channel, rehabilitation of expansion joints, replacement of elastomeric sealant at expansion joints within the primary clarifier basin, installing support brackets to support tie-beam key joints, reconstruction of gratings and supports, replacement of the existing mechanical sludge removal system in-kind (equipment provided by Owner), replacement of the primary clarifier washdown system including piping, valves, and hose bib installation, and replacement of spray heads. Work also includes allowances for concrete crack repairs by epoxy injection, and spot repairs of concrete spalls on stairways, walkways, walls, and other features at the headworks and primary treatment structure.
