Southwest Water Treatment Plant 3 Test Well Specifications

To install one new potable supply well to provide raw water to the Southwest WTP to ensure dependable service, operational flexibility and additional supply well capacity. Before installing this supply well, one exploratory test well is planned to be completed at TWA’s Southwest WTP. Hydrogeologic information (geology, yield and water quality) will be obtained from exploratory test well drilling and used for design of the permanent supply well. TWA is conducting this Invitation to Bid only for Phase 1 Test Well Construction Services. The work to be performed by CONTRACTOR includes, but is not limited to, the furnishing of all permits, labor, supervision, materials, equipment, tools and all other facilities, and incidentals to complete test well at the TWA Southwest WTP. The work described herein consists of well drilling, casing installation, grouting, development, specific capacity testing, geophysical logging, water sampling and well plugging/abandonment.
