Description | DISCLAIMER: If a Contractor wants to bid on this project they MUST purchase the bid documents directly from LAN Associates by calling 201-447-6400 or emailing Kim Hauser at kim.hauser@lanassociates.com For the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment and other facilities necessary for, or incidental to Contract 9 - HVAC Upgrades at George Washington Elementary School The Project will be awarded as a single overall contract in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18. Prospective Bidders may contact LAN at Telephone #201-447-6400 for additional information on the Pre-Bid Meeting. It is recommended that all Bidders attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and familiarize themselves with the Project Site(s) prior to submitting a bid. The failure of the Bidder to visit the Site(s) is at Bidder's own risk. Bids may be mailed to the attention of Mr. Kyle Bleeker, Business Administrator, at the Board of Education office address listed above; however, no bid will be considered, regardless of the postmark, unless it is actually received in the Business Administrator's office prior to the time set for the opening of the bids. Bids may also be delivered in person to the Business Administrator between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on official business days. All bids must be duly time stamped, in the office of the Business Administrator, not later than the "Bid Opening Date and Time" as stated below. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to submit a Bid for the Project, Bidders, and/or a Bidders' subcontractor, if applicable, shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction in C032 (HVACR). In addition, the bidder, or bidder's subcontractors, must comply with the identification and classification requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-18, to the extent the services of a prime trade-classified contractor or subcontractor are required on the project, per the specifications. Bidders on this project must also identify and include subcontractors classified in (i) C008 (General Construction) or C009 (General Construction Alterations and Additions), (ii) C030 (Plumbing); and (iii) C047 (Electrical) if Bidder is not classified to perform such work. Last Day for Contractor Questions: Tuesday, December 20, 2022, at 5:00 PM The Mahwah Board of Education reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all bids or any part thereof in accordance with law, to waive any non-material informality in the bids, and to award the bid to a responsible and responsive bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days from the date set for the opening of the bids, as set forth above. |
