The East Bay Golf Course Pond Banks Renewal Project

The East Bay Golf Course currently has several pond banks that are in need of repair. Several have a keystone wall that needs to be removed and disposed of on site. Other areas are in need of regrading and erosion control. 1. Removal and relocation of 65 irrigation heads a. Heads shall be relocated within 5 feet of existing location on same lateral line 2. 7,665 LF of keystone block wall removal to be disposed of on-site 3. 2,548 LF of eroded pond bank edge compaction 4. 3.25 acres of shaping 5. 133,180 SF of Fine Grading and Pond Edge Preparation 6. 80,000 SF of Enkamat 7020 Pond Stabilization 7. 16,320 SF of Ryegrass sod 8. 48,260 SF Hydromulch (Ryegrass seed) 9. 68,600 SF Hydromulch (Mountain Native Blend or Scottish Links Seed) 10. Meostrione Additive to Hydromulch 11. Owner provided Turbidity Curtain (approx. 100 LF) shall be put in place at each work location during demo and earthwork. Erosion control measures (silt fence or straw waddle) shall be in place during grassing. If the area is to be seeded the erosion control shall stay in place until satisfactory germination. If the area is to be sodded erosion control measures can be removed immediately after sodding. 12. Removal and disposal on-site of 5,000 to 8,000 SF of phragmites in two different locations. Haul distance to disposal area between 200 and 1,000 feet away.
