I-75 at CR 179/Cedar Creek Road 5.2 Mi. NW of White - CB-113

Replace I-75 bridges over CR 179/Cedar Creek Road Project is being sponsored by Georgia Department of Transportation. The proposed project will remove and replace the existing deteriorating multiple steel girder bridge carrying SR 401/I-75 (Structure 015-0101-0) over CR 179/Cedar Creek Road. All of the existing superstructure and substructures will be removed and replaced. The existing bridge will be replaced with two new parallel 201-ft long skewed multi-girder pre-stressed concrete beam superstructure supported on reinforced concrete substructures. As of April 12, 2023, this project is in the Cartersville-Bartow Metropolitan Transportation Improvement Program. Project still in Preliminary Engineering.
