NVANG MCSAT Lead Abatement

Remove lead contamination so that the MCSATs is free of lead contamination. The work includes the cleaning of the interior contact areas, the return duct system to the back of the filter bank, and the cyclone collection point. With this cleanup the site will be considered lead safe and with use non-lead bullets in the future, no further cleaning of lead shall be needed. The 152 Civil Engineer Squadron from the Nevada Air National Guard has a requirement to remove lead contamination so that the MCSATS is free of lead contamination and will meet the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA) disposal threshold for any remanding lead contamination. Lead dust will be abated to Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) current standards. The MCSATS is located at the Nevada Air National Guard Base in Reno, Nevada.
