Description | As of April 19, 2023, this project were cancelled. No definite date for the rebid. The City of Silverton is looking for a Contractor to perform tenant improvements to an existing modular structure located at 832 McClaine Street, next to Silverton City shops at 830 McClaine. Project includes new interior walls for two (2) offices, two new (2) bathrooms, one (1) storage room with janitors supply closet, entry room, and kitchenette inside the modular structure. Improvements also include painting, new flooring, cabinets, countertops, and kitchen appliances. Contractor will construct ramp entrance and deck to modular doors. Contractor will install electrical system serving the modular and 4 future pallet shelters, and a fire sprinkler system inside the modular with alarms and cabinets in accordance with provided plans and specifications. Contractor is responsible for completing design of fire sprinkler system that will be reviewed and approved by the City before construction begins. The fire sprinkler design shall have a 2 inch fire line serving the sprinkler riser and will also include identifying the location of the FDC. Contractor will be responsible for installing FDC, riser, and sprinkler system. Installation of 230'of 6' chain link fencing with brown slats and 20' electrical gate with remote control system. Work includes utility excavation and utility boring of communication lines and power. Firms must be added to the planholder list to obtain documents. The City may reject any proposal not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the City if it is in the public interest to do so.
