Description

The Township is accepting Bids for Old York Road Sanitary Sewer Stabilization and Upgrades off of Old York Road (between Hidden Lane and Windmill Way) near Holland Brook in Block 61.02 Lot 4 within the Township of Branchburg. The work includes the furnishing of all labor, equipment, materials, supervision and coordination necessary to complete construction of the Project, including construction of gabions, regrading, site work, site restoration, and all else required to meet the intent of this project. This project includes stabilizing the existing stream after flooding caused by Tropical Storm Ida with gabions and regrading as shown on the Contract Plans. Related site restoration, including backfill and pavement as well as soil erosions and sediment control are also included in this Project. Bid documents will not be emailed. All notices of addenda, questions and answers, cancellations or postponements will be posted under Current Notices. Potential respondents are cautioned that they are responding at their own risk if a third party supplied the bid documents as they may or may not be complete. The Township is not responsible for third party supplied documents. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Bids must be submitted on the proposal forms contained in the bid package and be in a sealed envelope addressed to the Purchasing Agent at the address above. The sealed envelope must be CLEARLY MARKED BID with the name and address of the bidder and the project number and name on the outside of the envelope. If the bid is sent by overnight or express mail, the above designation shall also be CLEARLY MARKED on the outside of the courier company envelope. Any proposal received not complying with these requirements shall not be opened and shall be returned to sender marked "Unresponsive".
