Description | Ben Franklin Transit, (BFT) a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, located at 1000 Columbia Park Trail, Richland, WA 99352. The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to identify qualified Contractors to provide oil water separator and catch basin sludge and liquid removal and disposal services. The Contractor bid will include Prevailing Wage Labor costs, costs for disposal and equipment and materials to complete the work in accordance with Local, State and Federal specification and regulations. Contractors are to meet in the BFT Administration office lobby to sign in for the meeting. The deadline is required to give BFT staff ample time to answer questions and provide an Addenda to interested Contractors before IFB due date. BFT affirmatively ensures that disadvantaged and Women-owned Business Enterprises (W/DBE'S) will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this request and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. WISHA and OSHA Regulations The contractor agrees to abide by all laws, rules and regulations promulgated by the United States of America, the State of Washington, or any agencies or subdivisions thereof, specifically including WISHA and OSHA regulations currently in effect at time RFP due date and during the agreement term. Protest Procedure Policy BFT's protest procedure policy can be obtained by contacting BFT's Procurement Supervisor at the above address or phone number. Contractors who can demonstrate substantial economic interest may protest BFT's decision regarding a provision of the RFP or Award. BFT reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive informalities and minor irregularities in quotes received with any contractor, and to accept quotes which are considered to be in the best interest of BFT. Contractors will be required to follow all Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations. Contractors will be required to follow all Federal, State, and Local rules and regulations. This Request for Proposals may be canceled and any and all Proposals may be rejected in whole or in part when it is in the best interest of BFT.
