Supervision of Construction Services for Contract P100.579 Parkway Bridge Deck and Superstructure Reconstruction Milepost 124.4 to 128.1

Contract No. P100.579 involves work on six (6) bridges, Structure Nos. 124.4NO, No. 124.5SO, 124.5SI, 124.6NI, 128.0A and No. 128.0B. Structures Nos. 124.4NO and 124.5SO include fascia bay deck and parapet replacement on both sides along with miscellaneous repairs. Structure No. 128.0A includes superstructure replacement and widening, requiring the use of a temporary “strongback” beam. Structure No. 128.0B includes deck replacement and widening. Re-alignment of Structures 128.0A and 128.0B is being done to improve site distance and safety of the interchange. This will include the addition of two (2) retaining walls and relocation of four (4) sign structures. Construction staging makes necessary the use of a temporary bridge when work is ongoing at Structure 128.0B.
