Port of Pensacola Berths 2, 3, 5, 6 and 7 Repairs

Demo for disposal all remaining components of the existing timber cribbage fender system located along Berths 2, 3 and 5, including steel H-piles, horizontal steel walers, rubber fender units, shear and tension chains, timber walers and blocking, and all other miscellaneous items associated with the existing system. 1. Construction of new cast-in-place concrete pedestals on the waterside vertical face of Berths 2, 3 and 5 at each new Arch Fender Unit. 2. Receiving, unloading, storage, assembly and installation of owner furnished Arch Fender Units along Berths 2, 3 and 5. 3. Removal for disposal of timber cribbage fender system debris located along the eastern shoreline of the port as a result of Hurricane Sally. 4. Furnish and install new steel bar grating and handrail at the Berth 6 finger pier. Alternate 1: The Scope of Work for Additive Alternate #1 consists of the following: 1. Demo for disposal the entire north and south dolphin jacket structures at Berth 7, including full removal of the associated existing steel pipe piles. 2. Demo for disposal all remaining components of the existing timber fender system at the Berth 7 Loading Platform Structure. 3. Furnish and install six (6) new concrete filled steel pipe monopile breasting/mooring dolphins at Berth 7.
