Description | For Well #10 Pump Station NO BIDS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2022 2:00PM DEADLINE The work includes abandonment of on-site 2- to 12-inch diameter test wells, decommissioning of the historical Well #10 production well (inside the pump station), demolition and modification of select components of the Well #10 Pump Station, installation of a flood proof swing door, installation of a new exterior door, and all other work as described in the contract documents. SCOPE OF WORK AND SEQUENCE OF CONSTRUCTION A. The work in this contract is located in the Town of East Greenwich at #5897 Post Rd. B. The work consists of making modifications to the existing well #10 pump house including demo of various systems and piping, decommissioning old well #10, installing flood proof swing door and replacing exterior door, abandoning 12" test well, and all other work as described in the contract documents. C. All labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the work shall be provided by the Contractor. D. Prior notification of the Contractor's intent on where to work and a proposed schedule shall be submitted to the Owner and Engineer at least one week in advance of said work The Engineer for this project (design and construction phases) is Comprehensive Environmental Inc., 41 Main St, Bolton, MA 01740.
