OSR Eagle Ridge Development S-3027-05 Land Reclamation

The Contractor shall perform all operations necessary for: erosion and sediment control with best management practices to include silt fence, rock check dams, sumps, and rocked culvert outlet protection; clearing and grubbing at the site and windrowing the cleared and grubbed material and removing all man-made debris, trash, and garbage; maintenance of support areas and access roads to the site and coordination of work activities with local residents and complying with WVDOH rules and regulations; construction and surfacing of designated access roads; elimination (regrading to sheet flow) all designated sediment ditches; rehabilitation and cleaning of designated sediment ditches, to also include outlet rip-rap channel in select areas; place additional backfill at the previously backfilled highwall area and knob area designated on the plan; regrade knob areas designated on the plan; construction of diversion channels, drive-thrus and drainage flumes; relocation of existing access roads B and D to more moderate grades; replacement of security gate at entrance of main access road; revegetation of both previously reclaimed and newly disturbed areas. The Contractor shall also be responsible for surveying, furnishing, placing, and maintaining construction layout stakes necessary for the proper execution of the work required under the Contract, and for ordering, purchase and delivery of any and all materials required for construction or required for development of support areas. The Contractor shall perform all other operations as incidental to the program as specified herein.
