District Wide Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment

Scope: The Purchase furniture to meet the needs of the over 100 schools and facilities within the district. DCSD furniture purchases will fall into one of three categories: Line Item Purchases, Warehouse Stock Purchases, and Catalog Discount. Category 1 Line Item Purchases- Line item purchases will be made on an as needed basis. Delivery and installation at the appointed school or facility will apply. Category 2 Warehouse Stock Purchases- DCSD Warehouse orders will be shipped to the district warehouse. Assembly and placement of items in the warehouse, as instructed by DCSD staff, will apply to these orders. Category 3 Catalog Discount- Items not specified in Category 1 or 2, will be priced based on set catalog discount per manufacturer. These purchases will require delivery, assembly, and installation/placement as stated in the previous two categories. Only those vendors responding to and subsequently receiving award for at least one of the previous two categories will receive award for this category. Vendors only responding to Category 3 will not be considered.
