Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 11/22/2022 5:00 PM (PDT) The City of Palmdale is requesting bid proposals through the Invitation for Bid process for the supply and delivery of Landscape Aggregate, Boulders, and Materials (As-Needed). The requested commodities must meet the minimum specifications and requirements provided within this IFB. A Purchase Order (PO) will be the form of contract resulting from this solicitation. No minimum order quantity shall be required of the City of Palmdale. Samples of each item of description requested shall of be submitted to the city; Bidder must provide representative samples of the commodity being offered at no cost to the CITY to ensure compliance with the specification. All samples must be marked to show the Bidder's name, the bid number and title, and the bid item number. Upon request of the Bidder, samples not destroyed by examination or testing will be returned at the expense of the Bidder. If the Bidder does not request return of the sample within 7 days after notice of award, the sample will become property of the CITY. Bidders must submit samples (1-6 listed in Exhibit J) to the CITY to the mailing/delivery address specified by the bid response deadline. Samples provided by vendor will be evaluated by procuring division to determine if they meet the City's requirements, as described by the specifications listed and pictures provided in Exhibit J. Failure to furnish samples requested (Items 1-6) for evaluation purposes may result in declaring a bid non-responsive. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
