Description Scope of work includes 1. The removal and disposal of the existing manual partitions and pocket doors. 2. Furnish & complete installation of two (2) Panelfold Moduflex 440 STC50 (see attachment A for details) or equivalent electrically operated operable partition systems. Panels are 3-1/4" thick, MDF faced, and surfaced with Vinyltex vinyl veneer. System to include auto-compensating horizontal bottom seals and two (2) sets of three section pocket doors. The measurements of the two (2) partition doors are 52' 6" x 11' 6" each. 3. It will be the responsibility of the selected Contractor to apply for, obtain and close-out all required permits associated with this project. Permit fees will be paid by the Township. The contractor shall provide the Building Department with two sets of specifications from the door manufacturer. 4. Bidders are required to provide all material and labor necessary to perform the installation according the manufacturer's specifications. 5. Complete installation shall include all work, but not limited to overhead supporting steel punching, rough blocking and wood headers, electrical wiring, painting and finishing. 6. Drilling of I-Beam consistent with Panelfold punching template. 7. Repairing insulated plenum above track. 8. Refitting suspended ceiling. 9. All electrical work shall be performed by a licensed electrician. 10. After installation, the doors shall be tested to insure that they are in proper working order. 11. The Contractor shall demonstrate to Township Representatives how to operate the new doors. 12. Product shall include a manufacturer's standard warranty. 13. All work shall be completed within two weeks of notice to proceed. 14. After completion of all construction, the Contractor shall remove any and all supplies, materials, and construction debris from the work sites. No specific payment will be made for clean-up. All costs shall be included in the bid price.
