Design-Build for Fire Station 71

The scope of this RFQ is to evaluate, rank and short-list design-build teams seeking to pre-qualify to bid the design and construction of Fire Station 71 ("Project"). Interested firms shall be qualified and experienced in design and construction of new buildings of the size, type and dollar value of the proposed Project. Firms shall provide evidence of required qualifications and financial capability and stability in accordance with the information specified in this document. The intent of this RFQ is to pre-qualify no less than five (5) firms using the established selection criteria. Only those firms pre-qualified through this RFQ process will be invited to bid the design and construction of the designated Project. Selected pre-qualified firms shall be required to participate in a mandatory pre-proposal meeting to review and discuss the Request for Proposals (RFP) documents. including the Design-Build Criteria Package. The County will be utilizing the Low Bid Technically Acceptable method for the final selection process for the prequalified design-build teams.
