Description | Multi-modal Mobility Study and Impact Assessment to improve the transportation conditions within the Town including bicycling, walking, and public transit options for NW South River Drive from NW 116th Way to NW 87th Avenue. The study length is approximately 7,500 lineal feet. The Multi-modal Mobility Study and Impact Assessment will achieve two primary outcomes. 1.Conduct a master planning study to identify specific transit and non-motorized transportation improvements that will become part of work programs for the Town and its transportation partners. This study will include an assessment of bicycle facilities, sidewalks, pavement improvements, American with Disabilities Act (ADA) improvements, drainage and lighting enhancements. 2.Conduct a right of way and environmental assessment for improvements within the project limits. The scope of the project will include the following tasks. 1.Assessment of the existing transportation conditions 2.Data analysis to include review of existing transportation plans, proposed development opportunities and report. 3.Coordination with regulatory agencies, including Miami-Dade MPO, Town of Medley, FDOT, Cities of Doral, Hialeah, and Hialeah Gardens. 4.Public involvement to provide opportunity for the community to be engaged and involved in the process of the project. 5.Update of Transit circulator study, including demographic data and recommendations. 6.Right of way impact assessment, including reconstruct pavement, ADA-compliant sidewalks, bicycle lanes, and drainage. 7.Environmental assessment to identify and document required environmental permits based on the results of the data collection such as land use, social and economic consideration, safety, utilities, traffic count, etc. 8.Recommended improvements based on the previous tasks of the Study. 9.Final report of the work developed throughout the course of the Study. The FDOT Local Agency Program funding for services pursuant to this RFQ requires that all proposing teams include at least one (1) firm or individual that has been pre-qualified by FDOT in each of the following FDOT standard work types: Traffic Engineering Studies Systems Planning Sub Area/Corridor Planning |
