DFS - Cooling Towers Cleaning

The Illinois State Police (ISP) intends to procure cleaning services for four (4) Baltimore Aircoil Company Cooling Towers, Model# FXT-175. Complete cleaning of dirt, debris, and scale from all four (4) cooling towers. Cleaning includes the complete chemical removal of water scale buildup on fill and inner tower walls, remove any obstructions from fill and drift eliminators, inspect and clean dirt and debris from hot and cold-waiter basins, clean dirt and debris from strainer and metering orifices , and flush equalizing line to remove any dirt and debris. Chemical cleaning should utilize non-metal corrosive chemicals capable of removing water scale building without damaging fill, basins, or any other water circulating components. Spray on chemical application to tower is preferred. Replace fan belts, adjust belt tension and check alignment, lubricate fan shaft bearings, check motor insulation.
