Electrical Improvements To Lift Station E3, E17, And E21

The purpose of this solicitation is to receive responses from qualified electrical contractors to provide electrical improvements to lift stations E3, E17, and E21 in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this solicitation. Lift station E-3 Electrical Rehabilitation Replace non fuse disconnect with a new 300 amp Stainless Steel Non fuse disconnect. Replace the existing 300 amp meter base with a new 300 amp meter base. Replace the existing 300 amp main breaker and enclosure with a new 300 amp main breaker and stainless steel enclosure. Replace 400 amp ONAN transfer switch and enclosure with a new 400 amp ONAN transfer switch and stainless steel enclosure. Replace all wiring from the generator to the transfer switch. Replace all wiring from transfer switch to main electrical distribution panel. Replace 480 VAC surge protection and 30 amp disconnect. Make all electrical connections and torque properly. Install new Myers hub on all penetrations. Replace old unistrut supports with new stainless steel unistrut supports. Use all stainless steel hardware. Pull all necessary permits and arrange for inspections as required. Include signed and sealed drawings, if needed for permitting process. Must provide backup 150 Kw generator while work is performed. Must coordinate with electric company before work is performed. Post applicable permit at job site. Restore gravel at the lift station to before project conditions at minimum. Provide testing and training to City of Clermont personnel. Warranty supplied to the City of Clermont shall be minimum one (1) year parts and labor. Lift station E17 Electrical Rehabilitation Replace non fuse disconnect with new 400 amp Stainless Steel non fuse disconnect. Replace 400 amp meter base with new 400 amp meter base. Replace 400 amp main breaker and enclosure with new 400 amp main breaker and Stainless steel enclosure. Replace 400 amp ONAN transfer switch and enclosure with new 400 amp ONAN transfer switch with stainless steel enclosure. Replace wiring from the generator to the transfer switch. Replace wire from transfer switch to main distribution panel. Replace 480 vac surge protection and 30 amp disconnect devices. Make all electrical connections and torque properly. Install new Myers hub on all penetrations. Replace old unistrut supports with new stainless steel unistrut supports. Use all stainless steel hardware. Warranty shall be one (1) year parts and labor The successful respondent must provide all labor, materials, equipment, and tools necessary to perform electrical improvements to lift stations E3, E17, and E21. All respondents must hold a valid electrical license, general license, and any other contractor's license, issued by the State of Florida, which may be required to complete the work. A copy of all licenses pertaining to this work must be submitted with the bid response. The successful respondent must have been in the commercial/industrial electrical business for a minimum of five (5) years and provide evidence of such with their bid response. Respondents to this solicitation must provide experienced technicians to perform all labor and provide all materials, tools, equipment, permits, and licensing necessary to perform the work. The successful respondent is solely responsible for the safety of their employees and sub-contractors relative to the work, work procedures, material, equipment, transportation, signage, related activities, and equipment. To ensure that all prospective respondents have accurately and completely understood the requirements of this solicitation, the City of Clermont Procurement Services Department will accept written questions up until 3:00 pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Verbal inquiries will not be accepted and potential respondents are instructed to only seek additional information or clarification or to communicate in writing with the Procurement Services Director. The City of Clermont requires all questions relating to this solicitation to be entered through the "Question and Answer" tab available on the Portal. Responses to questions will be provided online at https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/clermontfl . All Questions Must Be Submitted Prior to the Deadline. Questions Will Not Be Answered via Telephone or Fa The issuance of this solicitation and the acceptance of responses do not constitute an agreement by the City that it will enter into a contract with a respondent for this project. The City reserves the right to extend the response due date, request additional information from any and all respondents, reject any and all responses, cancel the project, and/or re-advertise the solicitation. The City reserves the right to disqualify any respondent at the sole discretion of the City. By submitting a response and subsequent information, the respondents waive the right to object to the exercise of the City's right to disqualify a respondent and/or a response, either now or in the future. A Bid Bond is not applicable to this solicitation Performance & Payment Bonds are not applicable to this solicitation.
