The project items may include, but are not limited to, demolition and removal of existing structural, mechanical, electrical, communication and, instrumentation and control components and installing new components, testing, site work, traffic maintenance during construction, coordination with other contractors, and miscellaneous appurtenances as shown on contract documents, and incidental items. Other Details This project is in SHA Cost Group "B". Each bid shall be accompanied by an electronic copy of a bid bond OR certified check, in the amount of 5% of the total bid, made payable to the "Director of Finance, Howard County". For a certified check, the Contractor shall submit the original certified check to the Office of Procurement and Contract Administration PRIOR to the bid due date and time to be deemed responsive Equal Business Opportunity (EBO) program's 15% subcontracting goal. The plans and specifications are intended to cover a complete project for Huntington PRV Vault Improvements including demolition, removing of old components, and installation and testing of new components. The drawings and technical Specifications indicate work to be completed. It should be distinctly understood that failure to mention specifically any work that would naturally be required to complete the project shall not relieve the Contractor of his responsibility to perform such work.
