Description | Project Schedule: Project DesignSchematics - Completed Design Development Completion - by November 2023 Construction Documents Completion– by April 2024 Bid Completion - by June 2024 Construction – (An early Demolition package will be scheduled for summer 2024) Award – by August 2024 Construction Start – by September 2024 Construction Completion – by November 2025 Occupancy - Owner FF&E and Move In – by February 2026 Open – by February 2026 As of October 13, 2023, the project is in design development which is scheduled to be completed in November 2023. The owner received RFQ's for CM@Risk on August 2, 2023 and a selection is anticipated to be made by the Board of Trustees in November 2023. Construction is anticipated to begin in September 2024 and be completed in November 2025. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Architectural Firms are needed to provide Design Services (including consulting engineers) for proposed renovations at the Old ATC Building on the Central Campus of Central Piedmont in Charlotte, NC. Old ATC (Advanced Technology Center) Building Renovations: a. Renovations of existing three story, 63,000sf building to convert former classroom and tech lab building into primarily administrative and support services office functions. b. Replacement of all major building systems (HVAC, lighting, power, data, fire alarm and security) and the addition of an automatic fire sprinkler system. c. Exterior wall reconstruction to replace precast panels and curtainwall with masonry and fenestration compatible with the campus. All questions should be directed to Gregory S. Please submit Three (3) Hard Copies and One (1) digital copy (PDF Format via email) of the Request for Qualifications (RFQ) with a Letter of Interest. Hard copies and digital copy must be received prior to closing date and time. The RFQ shall not exceed 20 pages (one side only) or 10 pages (two sided) not including Letter of Interest (maximum of 2 pages).
