Description | As of Aug 14, 2023 the project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established . Stony Brook University Hospital intends to make an award for the above noted commodity, product and/or service. A sealed bid will be held. If you are interested in providing a proposal for the above commodity/product and/or service, you must contact the appropriately designated Campus contact in this advertisement within 15 business days of this Advertisement Notice. The main features of the work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents shall include, but not be limited to the following: The work to be done under the Contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents, consists of performing, installing, furnishing and supplying all materials, equipment, labor and incidentals necessary or convenient for the construction of Project Number 23915, titled SBUH Molecular Lab HVAC FCU Upgrade and carry out all of the duties and obligations imposed upon the Contractor by the Contract Documents. The main Mechanical features of the work shall include, but not be limited to the following: Contract Mobilization Survey Submittals Procurement and installation of a new variable refrigerant flow (VRF) HVAC system. Remove and turn over to SBUH the existing fan coil system located in the Residents On-Call Lounge (L2-619) and all associated items. Comply with ICRA/ILSM as required by SBUH Policies and Procedures. Provide all roof and wall opening, fire stopping and roof patching and flashing for mechanical and electrical work. Provide supports for HVAC condenser units, piping and conduit roof supports; and roof patching and flashing. Remove and properly dispose of ductwork and all associated items. Provide refrigerant piping, condensate piping, condensate pump, supports and associated items. Provide electrical wiring, conduits and associated items for the final power connection to the equipment. Provide control systems, communication wiring, conduits, pull boxes, and supports and associated items. Provide factory inspection, startup and training for the new HVAC system.
