Park ADA Signage and Parking Lot Striping

The Marion County Parks and Recreation Department is currently seeking a qualified contractor to install and/or relocate ADA signage, install and/or re-stripe ADA parking spaces, and re-stripe both regular and trailer parking spaces at the fourteen Marion County parks listed below. Striping shall include the ADA access aisle, and all striping shall be completed with TT-P-1952E Type III Traffic Paint. All new ADA sign posts shall be 2”x 2” square perforated 14 gauge steel post and shall be black powder coated. A 2” square pyramid cap, also black powder coated, shall be used. Contractor shall meet the following qualifications: be qualified to provide such services as: - Conduct site assessments of existing conditions. - Knowledgeable in High Build paint application. - Adhere to all specifications and manufacturer’s recommendations. - Provide and install all requested signage. - Provide and install all requested striping. - Adhere with the FDOT Standard Plans for Road Construction, Pavement Markings, latest edition. - Format ADA markings to conform with FDOT standards index 711-001 - Format all parking lane striping to conform with FDOT Standards index 7 - Format all pavement markings to conform to the latest version of the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) - Visually review all parking areas for parks in this scope. - Clean up of all associated work.
