| Description | The City of Jacksonville (COJ) is seeking proposals for the removal of unsuitable soils beneath a section of Williamsburg Parkway. Approximately 1,200 ft of asphalt measuring approximately 12 ft wide will need to be removed to expose the subgrade. The existing soils are to be excavated and removed from the jobsite, backfilled, compacted, and paved in accordance with the construction details provided. In addition to replacing the soils beneath the roadway, the entire width of the road will be milled 1" and paved back with 1.5" SF-9.5B. Mill/pave road accordingly to ensure crown/drainage. See construction details for full extent of 1" mill/1.5" SF-9.5B paving. The Jacksonville City Council reserves the right to waive any informalities, to reject any or all bids, and to accept that Bid or Bids which appear to be in the Owner's best interest. |
