Description

Excavate the existing trench drains and replace with a fiberglass trench drain system. The existing catch basins attached to each trench drain are to be rehabilitated with a new frame and grate to withstand H25 Loading. Prior to replacing the trench drains the existing catch basins and attached underground piping are to be jetted and flushed to ensure excess debris and buildup is removed. Trench Drain: The trench drain is to be a 10” wide, high capacity, pre-sloped fiberglass trench drain system, Smith Aco 9812, or approved equal. Frame and grate to be stainless steel (Type 304). Catch Basin: Rebuild the top 24in of each catch basin to accept the new frame and grate. Concrete: Class E, 4000psi @28day, W/C Ratio: .45, Air: 5-8%, Slump: 3-5”.
