Description | POST FRAME STORAGE BUILDING PROJECT BIDS WANTED for the Contract Work (Project) as follows: 1. Mobilization / Demobilization 2. Furnish PA Licensed Professional Engineer Stamped Structural Plans for Approval 3. General Construction for 48 X 88 X 16 Post Frame Storage Building per Contract Drawings The Contract may be awarded directly thereafter. Contract Documents may be solicited from the Township and will be distributed electronically via email at NO COST to Prospective Bidders. Bids must be submitted on the prescribed forms furnished by the Township in strict accordance with the Information for Bidders. No pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for the project. Bidder must satisfy himself/herself of the extent of work by examination of the site and a review of the Drawings and Specifications, including Addenda. After the Bids have been submitted, the Bidder shall not assert that there was a misunderstanding concerning the extent of work, nor the nature of work to be done. Bids may be held by Township for up to 30 days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders prior to awarding the Contract. Should there be reasons why the Contract cannot be awarded within the specified period; the time may be extended by mutual agreement between the Township and the Bidder. The Project is not subject to Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage requirements. A Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds with good and sufficient surety will be required. Questions regarding this Bid shall be submitted in writing to the Township Secretary via email at jefftwp1@verizon.net per guidance outlined in the bidding documents. Verbal requests will not be accepted. The Work which the CONTRACTOR is required to perform shall be commenced at the time stipulated by the Township in the Notice to Proceed to the CONTRACTOR and shall be fully/ finally completed within ninety (90) consecutive calendar days of said Notice to Proceed. Furthermore, the Township reserves the right to reject any or all Bids for any reason or no reason, to waive any irregularities, or to negotiate Contract amounts. |
