Buffalo Lake Trail - Phase 1

A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Be Advertised: Bid Date has been extended to December 14, 2023 The City of Elizabethtown has developed plans for the development of the Buffalo Lake Trail - Phase 1 bounded by East Dixie Avenue and Commerce Drive, Elizabethtown, KY 42701. The project limits span 1.3 miles and extends northwest from Commerce Drive through the woods surrounding Buffalo Lake, crossing Buffalo Creek, along the top of the levee around Buffalo Lake, along East Railroad Avenue, across Valley Creek, and connecting to East Dixie Avenue. Plans call for general site demolition and clearing of the site, earthwork for the site based on the grading plan, two bridge structures (across Buffalo Creek and across Valley Creek), site utilities, site amenities and furniture, wayfinding signage, plantings, a meadow, and construction of a retaining wall along approaches of the Buffalo Creek bridge. Bids shall include all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the work as shown on the plans and specifications, including clean-up and disposal of all materials.
