Description

The Build Out consist of the selective demolition, clean up and reconstruction of the Six (6) Apartments with in the Building. The Build Out consist of removal and reconstruction of the Roof Truss Structure and Apartments fire damaged wood framing. All Exterior and Interior Frames/Doors and Windows related Security Screens. All interior finishes shall be removed and reconstructed, sheetrock, finish carpentry, millwork, cabinetry, floor finishes and painting. Above floor plumbing and mechanical shall be removed and reconstructed. Electrical Service Entrance and related wiring, meters, disconnects and conduit assembly shall be totally reconstructed and relocated. Interior Electrical rough boxes, wiring, devices and fixtures in their entirety shall be replaced. In order for all interested bidders to familiarize themselves with all the requirements of the contract documents, drawings, specifications, job conditions, existing building conditions, etc., A certified check or bank draft, payable to The Brunswick Housing Authority Brunswick, Georgia, U. S. Government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five (5%) percent of the bid shall be submitted with each Bid. Each bidder shall submit with Bid a Statement of Bidder's Construction Experience and Previous Participation Certificate (HUD2530), and Representations, Certificates, and Other Statements of Bidders (HUD-5369-A). The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. Attention is called to the provision for Davis Bacon/Section 3 equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the General Conditions must be paid and reported on this project. Further the Project is funded through American Recovery And Reinvestment Act mandating the Buy American and job status reporting requirements. The Local Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive any informality in the bidding. All prospective bidders are urged to visit the site and familiarize themselves with job conditions. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of The Brunswick Housing Authority Brunswick, Georgia. MBE (22.2%), WBE (6.9%) The work covered in this specification includes the furnishing of all labor, material, equipment, services, supervision, and installation of all work, requisite for the construction of Insurance & Capital Fund, The Brunswick Housing Authority, Fire Damage Re-Construction, Mercer Altama Development GA06P009005, Apartments 38 - 43, Building "D", Brunswick, Georgia, all as shown on Drawings as herein specified or as may be directed by the Local Housing Authority. The work includes but is not limited to the following: A. Site Improvements: Protect existing lawns, landscaping, trees, utilities, sidewalks, paved areas and buildings.
