Taxiway A Extension - City of Roseburg

The runway was extended by 400 feet in 2009/10 utilizing a ConnectOregon 3 Grant. Due to funding constraints, the parallel taxiway was not constructed. The proposed project will extend the taxiway 400 feet to eliminate the back taxi required on Runway 16. The extended runway length was justified as part of the 2019 Airport Master Plan update and is eligible for FAA funding. This project is in included in the City's or County's FY 2021-2026 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of November 04, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
