Description

Demolition of structures located at 1800 Richmond Road, Williamsburg, VA 23185. 1. Obtain necessary permits (i.e. Demolition, Land Disturbance permits, Stormwater Construction General Permit) and pay for any additional fees (i.e. hauling and disposal). City permit fees shall be waived. 2. Develop and submit for review and approval by the City an Erosion and Sediment Control Plan. 3. Demolition, removal, and disposal of all above ground structures, asphalt, concrete and underground tanks. Footings and manholes greater than 3 feet below the surface are to be removed to a depth of 3 feet. All holes and trenches are to be filled with select material and compacted. Sanitary sewer connections to the City are to be located, cut and capped at the property line and witness stakes installed. Water service is to be cut at the property side of the meter and the meter box remain in place. 4. Demolish the existing pool to 3 feet below the surface and fill with VDOT 21A stone or select fill to an elevation of 4” below the finished surface. The fill material is to be compacted in 8” lifts. The bottoms of pools are to be broken in a number of places to allow for drainage. 5. Grade site to drain as close to existing conditions. Add 4” topsoil, fertilizer, lime and seed to the disturbed areas per the Virginia E&SC Handbook. 6. A Limited Asbestos Sampling and Quantification Report was done for the site by ECS Mid-Atlantic. The report is attached herein.
